Shipping & Handling & Return Policies
We do our best to ship your items in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible. Our systems online are not as "smart" as people, so sometimes you might see a shipping & handling charge that seems excessive. Please know that we always monitor these carefully when fulfilling orders. We do our best to lower the cost. If the cost is able to be lowered (while still allowing for a reasonable handling charge) we will refund your original payment method for the difference. If you are an international customer, this is particularly true and encourage you to email us to help work out what we can fit in the flat rate boxes to maximize your purchases and minimize the shipping cost.
Orders typically ship within 48 hours. Orders are shipped every day except Sunday and major holidays.
- During peak times and sales we may get behind on filling orders.
- If your order is urgent please let us know by email and we will get right on it.
- If you need to change or edit an order please contact us as soon as possible. Orders start to get processed and filled often the same day.
International Shipping (including Canada)
We try to keep international shipping simple. We offer USPS first class international and Priority Mail flat rate international.
We pay for insurance.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Occasionally, our international customers have had to pay extra fees for customs, duties and taxes. These extra fees vary widely from country to country. Since we have no control over potential extra charges levied by destination countries, we highly recommend that you research the policies specific to your country. Also, when customs clearance procedures are necessary, delays can be caused that will increase the time it takes to arrive. Because duties and customs are beyond our control, we have chosen not to ship via UPS, DHL or FedEx, which often are the highest.
Our products may be returned for a refund within 60 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in "like-new" condition. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. The returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number. We cannot accept returns on fabric cuts made from bolts. Please contact us to help you with any returns.
Even though most of our products are not susceptible to damage during the shipping process, if you receive damaged items, we will replace them. Please contact us via email and we will work with you to have them returned. An identical (where available) replacement item will be sent to the buyer at no additional cost. Obviously, with fabric, sometimes the item will no longer be available, in which case we will do our best to replace it with a similar item. As stated above, all returns must include the original receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number.
